The Hamlet is a Unique Poconos Mountains PA upscale neighborhood of homes on 1 plus acre lots surrounded by mostly state forest with an amenity package superior to any other Poconos Neighborhood of its size (about 300 owner). Indoor and outdoor pools, small lake, fitness room, sauna, clubhouse, tennis courts.

The Hamlet is know for its quiet and solitude. It is the alternative to Buck Hill or one of the larger communities. While no gates there is only one way in and out providing for a sense of security other communities do not have.

I've owned a home in The Hamlet in the past and lived there for a couple years. You will enjoy the amenity package. For its size, The Hamlet has the most amenities of any neighborhood in the Poconos. Both and indoor and out door pool, tennis courts, fitness room, clubhouse and small lake for fishing (no beach, but a nice grassy area between the pools and lake.

Owners buy here because of the size of the lots (larger than average in the Poconos), the amenities and the smallness of the community (about 300 lots total) The neighborhood backs on State Lands on two sides and larger parcels on the other.

The amenities are well kept and provide a "country club" type atmosphere without the pretense.
