The golf course at Wild Pines is a challenging and picturesque course with outstanding vistas of the surrounding Pocono Mountains. The course was designed by golf architect J. Christopher Commins, ASGCA, and takes advantage of the rugged mountain topography and the beautiful natural vegetation of the site.
Fairways are integrated with existing wetlands that become design features. The tees, greens and fairways are impeccably maintained.
The golf course at Wild Pines was designed by renowned golf course architect J. Christopher Commins, ASGCA. A graduate of the University of Florida's landscape architecture program, Chris utilized his education and training as well as his love of the game to design top-rated golf courses.
Commins built a beautiful and challenging course at the Club, which debuted in 1998. Recognizing the importance of leaving a low impact on the environment, Commins let the natural setting of the Poconos forest guide his design of the course.
Commins spent 17 years in golf course architecture and designed or managed the design of over 40 golf courses worldwide.
