Lake Valhalla is a primary home neighborhood about 1 mile from downtown East Stroudsburg, PA, The neighborhood has a small beach and play area and a community pavilion. Homes are in the average price range for the region and about 3 miles from the High School, Hospital and East Stroudsburg University. There is a Lake Valhalla Lake association that maintains the lake and beach area. Commuters to New York and New Jersey enjoy a quick 6 minute rice to the Delaware Water Gap bridge.
There are two distinct sections to Lake Valhalla. The homes prior to the lake have central water and sewer and generally no views. The homes on the back side of the lake have onsite water and sewer and most have either woods or mountain views. There is aroad associtaion that maintains private roads in this area.
